Hello! I’m a Canadian-American composer (b. 1998) striving to create music that explores narrative, bringing my loves of literature, drama, and film to my music. Equally at home in concert halls and intimate studio environments, my catalogue includes music for orchestra, choirs, mixed chamber ensembles, solo instruments, and electronics. I am stylistically diverse, and particularly active in the worlds of musical theatre and film. My music has been performed by groups such as C3LA: The Contemporary Choral Collective of Los Angeles, HEX Ensemble, The Walden School Players, Apple Hill Chamber Ensemble, and the Contemporary Vocal Ensemble at CalArts. My recent credits include additional orchestrations for StarKid: Homecoming, work that received praise from Darren Criss and A.J Holmes, and the score for the podcast Georgie Romero is Done For. I am currently working on the score for the new musical The Scars of Your Body with New York-based playwright Valerie Work. I was a recipient of the 2019 New Voices Award from New Musicals, Inc., sponsored by Walt Disney Imagineering. I am an alumnus of The Walden School, a summer program for young composers in Dublin, New Hampshire. I graduated with my BFA in Composition from the California Institute of the Arts in 2019.
