Surprise, surprise, I also do film music! I am happy to score your film, tv show, video or web series upon request. On this page you’ll find sample cues from film projects I have done that demonstrate a variety of approaches and musical aesthetics.
Live-Action
Where It Takes Me
In the spring of 2018, I scored a 16-minute short film called Where It Takes Me, about a recovering alcoholic. The film was made by New Way Media and directed by Eric Johnson.
Palomar Film Music Workshop
I was a participant in the 2017 Palomar Film Music Workshop, where I studied under composers Roger Neill (Don’t Think Twice, 20th Century Women) and Larry Groupé (Nothing But the Truth, The Contender). I scored scenes from 20th Century Women and the HBO film Killing Reagan while I was there. My cue for Killing Reagan was recorded with a full orchestra at StudioWest in San Diego. For legal reasons, I can not show these clips on my website, however if you would like to see them, email me and I can send you the password-protected videos.
Animation
Serenade
This animation was my friend Nicole Limones’s junior film at CalArts. It’s about a lone man walking through a forest in the winter. Per Nicole’s request, the first half of the film has no music.
Dir. Nicole Limones
Dance and Experimental
One Flat Thing Reproduced (excerpt)
I scored an excerpt of William Forsythe’s One Flat Thing Reproduced in the winter of 2016 as an assignment for my Oberlin Conservatory application.
Directed and Choreographed by William Forsythe
Documentary
Home Land
Directed by Jordan Joseph, Home Land is a short documentary about homelessness in the Portland area.
